Out of the several hosting companies I have delt with over the past few years, www.diyhost.co.uk is the WORST I have ever had the misfoutune of giving my hard earned money to. It all starts off very friendly, but this quickly turns to 'I can't be bothered to speak to you'. If things go wrong with the server, after several slow help tickets, you are basiclly told ' What do you think DIY stands for? DO IT YOURSELF ' , but of course you can not do it yourself, because you do not have root access to the server, and they wont give you root access! One example, I entered a Cron Job in to my cPanel Cron Jobs, and it took 3 months to activate!!!!!! No amount of asking in their forums or tickets resolved the problem. When I finally moved to a decent host, and entered the exact same cron job, it activated 5 minutes later. I have many more examples of this very bad host, and I urge you, look elsewhere, save your hard earned cash for a decent host.

Excellent hosting company! Generous webspace plus plenty of bandwidth. My previous host cost me five times more than what they charge! Keep up the good work DIYHOST!

Excellent company. Used them for years and never had any downtime. Highly, highly recommended!

I have also had an entirely disgusting service from them. Everything was fine until I had a problem uploading files one day, so I raised a support ticket and they were nothing but rude to me. They closed the call even though it wasn't fixed, gave the impression they didnt care in the slightest, then when I reopened the call a few times explaining that it wasn't fixed they banned me from the helpdesk for 24 hours. I work in IT support and would get sacked for this kind of customer service. My advice would be to stay clear from them at all costs, its not worth it.

I Have been with DIYhost for a while and since then have had a few problems with the web-space But nothing they didn't Fix. All new company's have bugs So I expected some problems. Like I said, They always sorted the problem out and did it the best they can. If you are starting up in web publishing and you need low cost domain and web-space Then My advice is DIYHOST :)
